EPCOS/TDK ERU 33 chokes are PTH flat line high current inductors with high current rating and low DC resistance for through-hole installation. These chokes are designed for ultra-high saturation currents from 32A to 83A (100°C). The ERU 33 choke has a rated inductance range of 33.2μH to 10μH, tolerance of ±12%, and < 2MHz resonant frequency.These chokes are also available in thin design, low DC resistance range from 0.85mΩ to 1.2mΩ, and small size.

The ERU 33 choke has flat windings and compact size (33mm x 33mm x 15mm). By attaching the flat windings to the magnetic core in a thermal connection manner, the large ferrite surface can be coupled to the heat sink for effective heat dissipation.

These chokes operate in a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C and can be easily customized to comply with AEC-Q200 REV D standards and RoHS instructions. The ERU 33 choke is used as an energy storage choke for the step-down/boost chokes of 48V plate-net converters and DC-DC converters.
