     ROHM provides a new generation of single-channel and dual-channel 40V intelligent (intelligent) low-side switches: BV1LExxxEFJ-C and BM2LExxxFJ-C series. These two product lines are ideal for automotive and industrial applications. They have passed AEC-Q100 certification and are applicable to body control, engine and transmission control unit, LED lighting module or industrial PLC.


     The company developed a special intelligent power supply process in 2014, which has long met the market demand. Combining innovation, energy-saving technology, process optimization and simulation design experience, it provides a wide range of high-performance products. Integrated over-temperature, over-current and over-voltage protection, built-in diagnosis function and micro-controller feedback enhance performance and reliability, and have excellent service life and reliability than discrete solutions.


     This product integrates all the above functions and can switch the current of resistive, capacitive or inductive loads. When the inductive load is cut off, the power MOSFET inside the smart switch must consume all the magnetic energy previously stored in the inductive magnetic field. During this period, the equipment protects itself by actively clamping the voltage to a safe level. The heat generated by the dissipated power is distributed on the surface of the integrated power MOSFET.


     Its new product is the first product in the industry to combine thermal suppression with low ON resistance. Through the use of proprietary TDACC circuit and device technology, the number of current-carrying channels is optimized and controlled to achieve compact size. TDACC provides higher integration capability, enabling it to report the industry's first dual-channel 40mOhm (ON resistor) product in a compact SOP-J8 package.


     A wide range of on resistance values (40/80/160/250 mOhm) are provided in single-channel and dual-channel configurations to meet different customer requirements. Moreover, the contact discharge capacitance limit of all products in the family is higher than that of other standard products. This adds a more secure operation in different electronic device types. Applications include a wide range of automotive and industrial systems applications.
