Littelfuse announced the launch of its new 50 A one-way Transient Suppression Diode Array family (SPA Diodes). Compared to existing solutions on the market, the SP1250-01ETG 50 unidirectional transient suppression diode array provides excellent protection with low clamp voltage and low leakage current, while saving printed circuit board space.

The SP1250 distributed one-way transient suppression diode is manufactured using proprietary silicon avalanche technology. The diode array provides high ESD protection for consumer electronic devices. The SP1250 family of products can safely absorb repeated ESD shocks up to ±30 kV (contact and air discharge as defined in IEC 61000-4-2) without fear of degradation. Each device dissipates up to 50 A 8/20 μs of surge events.
