Vishay introduces new through - hole inductors in small 1500 shape size with saturation current up to 420 A

Vishay Intertechnology has announced the introduction of A new small 1500 shape size through-hole inductor, the IHXL-1500VZ-51, with a saturation current of up to 420 A with a 30% reduction in inductance. The Vishay Dale IHTL-1500VZ-51 is suitable for renewable energy, industrial and communication applications with a very low typical DCR of 0.12mW and can operate continuously at +155 ℃

                                                                              

The device uses A shielded composite structure with a package size of 38.1mm x 38.1mm x 21.9mm and supports up to 150 A continuous DC current. In addition to switching regulators, differential mode and boost power factor correction chokes, and communication base station power supplies, the IHXL-1500VZ-51 can also replace large inductor solutions used in high temperature industrial, solar and wind applications, large current input filters, and DC/DC converters.

The IHXL-1500VZ-51 can handle high transient current spikes without hard saturation and soft saturation of 20 % at 195 % rated current. Devices comply with RoHS and Vishay green standards, are halogen-free and have strong tolerance to thermal shock, moisture and mechanical shock.
