EnglishVishay Intertechnology has introduced a new line of low impedance, automotive grade small aluminium electrolytic capacitors - the 190 RTL series. Its ripple current is up to 3.36 A, and it can operate at high temperatures of +125 °C. Its service life at 125 °C is up to 6,000 hours.
Vishay BCcomponents 190 RTL series capacitor impedance is lower than previous generation solutions, ripple current is increased by 10% to 15%, designers can use fewer components, resulting in increased design flexibility and saving board space. In addition, the devices comply with the AEC-Q200 standard and are available in a variety of small outline size packages from 10 mm x 12 mm to 18 mm x 35 mm.
The 190 RTL series capacitors have radial leads and are insulated with blue sleeves between the cylindrical aluminum housing and the decompression device. They are rated for voltages up to 50 V, with capacities ranging from 100 µF to 6800 µF and maximum impedance as low as 0.017 W. The capacitor has the function of anti-charge and discharge.
This series of polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitors is RoHs-compliant with non-solid-state electrolytes and is suitable for smoothing, filtering and buffering switching power supplies and DC/DC converters for a variety of high-temperature applications in industry, automotive, communications, medical and defense.
