EnglishDiodes, Inc. announced the launch of the latest product in the ReDrivers' broad portfolio, a 1.8V low-power, 4-data channel 2.5Gbps ReDriver. DIODES PI2MEQX2505 is a ReDriver with MIPI D-PHY 1.2 communication protocol, targeting mobile and iot applications.
The PI2MEQX2505 consumes 135mW in active mode, 5mW in low power mode, 2mW in ultra low power mode, and only 0.2mW in standby mode. This low power consumption helps extend the battery life of portable devices, including MIPI cameras, such as laptops and personal computers.
This ReDriver has 4 differential channels that provide programmable receiver equalization, output amplitude, and pre-intensification. These features allow for longer PCB line lengths while reducing signal delay and minimizing cost and power consumption. The PI2MEQX2505 is packaged in a miniature TQFN-28L (ZH) package with a size of only 3.5mm x 5.5mm for high-density channel winding.
