     The STMicroelectronics VIPower M0-9 device integrates functions including an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a pulse-width modulation (PWM) engine, and a priority manager. Offering a Serial Peripheral interface (SPI) (miniature 6 mm x 6 mm cost-efficient QFN package) or a standard parallel interface designed to meet the needs of intelligent vehicles through new regional architectures for increasingly advanced functionality.

     Based on the latest generation of VIPower M0-9 technology with 40 V grooved vertical mosFets, the family offers smarter devices capable of processing and monitoring more data required for increasingly complex Advanced Driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving requirements. These devices combine highly efficient 40 V grooved vertical MosFeTs with 3.3V digital logic and high-precision analog circuits.

     Designed specifically for high-voltage side connections in 12 V battery-powered applications, these SMART high-voltage side drivers simplify electronic control unit (ECUs) hardware and software design and enhance system reliability. An integrated PWM generator and priority management unit with channel conversion mediation and synchronization provide convenient and precise control signals for processing functions at each output. In addition, these devices simplify AUTOSAR compliance and thus software development by providing complex drivers that run independently of the application.
