Bourns' Multifuse product line extends its MF-LSMF model family of high-power surface-mount polymer positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) self-restoring fuses. These models extend the holding current range from 0.75 A to 6.0 A, with a maximum voltage of 6 VDC to 33 VDC and 20 additional options.

     The MF-LSMF series uses Bourns' innovative freeXpansion™ design to improve the performance of self-restoring fuses with higher hold current (Ihold), higher maximum voltage rating (Vmax), higher resistance stability, but in a smaller size. Key applications for these products include lithium-ion battery packs, low-voltage telecommunications equipment, motherboards and portable consumer electronics protection. These devices provide overcurrent and overtemperature protection within product specifications.
