Souriau-Sunbank's UTSX series is an all-plastic waterproof circular connector designed for harsh environments. Compared to its predecessor UTS series, the UTSX series features reinforced bayonet pins and a wider range of layout, size and mechanical keyed options. Part of the Souriau TRIM TRIO line of connectors, the UTSX series features a unique contact design that is interchangeable with its multiple series of connectors, enabling users to streamline their supply chain and maintain the same wiring process across all ranges. Machined, stamped, and coaxial triples of contacts are used in different connector shapes and have plastic or metal enclosures, bayonets, or push-pull coupling mechanisms.

     For interconfigurable families such as UTS, UTGX, and UTO, users can easily switch from one family to another among the applications in their operation. The UTSX series connectors are waterproof, lightweight and can withstand 250 round connections, and are made of materials with UV and corrosion resistance. They are IP68/69K rated protection even under dynamic conditions and offer multiple contact layouts for design flexibility, including power/signal hybrids and copper/fiber hybrids.

     The easy-to-grip connector has a one-third bayonet coupling that confirms the connection with an aural click and a tactile click. The UTSX series meets IEC and UL standards and is shock-resistant to ensure safe connections for installers and operators.
