Digilent's USRP B210 offers a fully integrated single-board universal software radio peripheral (USRP) platform with continuous frequency coverage ranging from 70 MHz to 6 GHz. Designed for low-cost experimentation, it incorporates an AD9361 RFIC direct frequency conversion transceiver that provides real-time bandwidth up to 56 MHz, an open and reprogrammable Spartan-6 FPGA, and fast SuperSpeed USB 3.0 connectivity.

Full support for USRP Hardware Driver (UHD) software, users can immediately develop using GNU Radio, use OpenBTS to make their own GSM base station prototype, And seamlessly transitioned code from USRP B210 to the higher performance, industry ready USRP platform. Users of green PCB devices (Revision 6 or later) can assemble protective steel casings using a case attachment kit.

The hardware is easily accessible through UHD. UHD provides C/C++ and Python apis that support all USRP products, enabling users to efficiently develop applications and then seamlessly transform designs across platforms as requirements scale. UHD also provides cross-platform support for a variety of industry standard development environments and frameworks, including RFNoC, LabVIEW and MATLAB/Simulink. To ensure that users don't have any restrictions on how they can use UHD, it is available on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS.
