TDK's AVD series of high-precision pressure transmitters feature an ultra-thin design and are available in three versions for different pressure measurement ranges: 0 mbar to 16 mbar, 0 mbar to 100 mbar, and 0 bar to 7 bar.
The AVD series provides high precision levels for low pressure ranges, such as ±1.75% full range (FS), with pressure ranges of 100 mbar. With a base surface of 31 mm x 40 mm and an insertion height of only 12.9 mm, it can be used even in narrow space applications. Compact piezoresistive pressure transmitter based on MEMS technology is suitable for atmospheric and non-corrosive gas pressure measurement. In addition to differential pressure measurements, these transmitters can be used for overpressure measurements in the temperature range -20°C to +70°C.
The transmitter has two self-locking pressure ports for assembling a 4 mm bore hose and provides 14 bit resolution internal integrated circuit (I2C) digital output. I2C is a standard digital interface for communicating with controls in industrial applications. Additional temperature signal output is also available through the I2C digital interface. The transmitter is equipped with two plug connectors for an easy Daisy chain system that enables multiple sensors in a single network.
These sensor systems are ideal for demanding industrial applications such as pressure level measurement, flow control and filter monitoring. Applications include pumps and compressors in the Industry 4.0 market, pneumatic systems, building management systems, etc
