Texas Instruments AMC1411 is a compact isolation amplifier that uses a capacitive isolation gate with strong anti-magnetic interference capabilities to isolate output from input circuits. Certified by VDE V 0884-11 and UL1577, the isolator provides enhanced current isolation up to 7.5 kVRMS and supports operating voltages up to 1,600 VRMS. Isolation grids separate parts of the system that operate at different common-mode voltage levels and protect the low-voltage side from voltages that can cause electrical damage or be harmful to the operator.

     The AMC1411's high-impedance input is optimized to connect to a high-impedance resistance voltage divider or other high-impedance voltage signal source. Excellent DC accuracy and low temperature drift support accurate voltage sensing in DC/DC converters, solar or wind turbine inverters, AC motor drivers, or other applications operating in high pressure, high altitude, or high pollution environments. AMC1411 offers an industrial temperature range from -40°C to +125°C and supports operations as low as -55°C.
