XP Power's HPL5K0 family provides constant voltage and constant current operation, as well as the flexibility and user configurable required for applications such as LED curing and heating, 2D and 3D printing, battery charging and simulation, laser, motor control and water treatment. The HPL5K0 also provides the performance of a three-phase power supply without the need for a midline connection, which is not usually provided in industrial facilities. In addition, the convenient input range (180 VAC to 264 VAC) eliminates the costly facility upgrades typically required for high power applications.

     The key to product flexibility is the use of unique digital control and extensive digital interface, built-in I²C PMBus, RS485 and CANopen, optional RS232 or UART. This digital control allows users to quickly configure (and reconfigure, if needed) the PSU through a convenient graphical user interface (GUI) with no hardware changes, thereby reducing time-to-market.

     Despite its powerful features and advanced controls, the HPL5K0 is a compact unit that can be used in modern high-density designs. Suitable for higher power or higher voltage applications over 30 kW and up to 400 VDC, the HPL5K0 can operate in parallel or series configurations with active current sharing.
