Using Skyworks' complete product family, Skyworks Solutions Si3472 and Si3473 four-way/eight-way PoE PSE device pictures can easily add Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatible with IEEE 802.3bt to any Ethernet port. The four-port Si3472 comes in a compact 5 x 7 QFN package that delivers up to 30 W of power using two pairs of IEEE 802.3bt or 45 W traditional mode. The SI3473 comes in an industry-standard 8 x 8 QFN package that provides octal ports up to 30 W using the IEEE 802.3bt two-pair protocol, or octal ports up to 45 W using the traditional mode.

     The single-port Si3471 or four-port Si3474 provides up to 90 W of four power pairs per Ethernet port. The industry standard 255 mΩ detection resistor is used, or the 200 mΩ detection resistor with higher thermal efficiency can be selected.
