Raltron's R2016 series surface-mount microprocessor crystals come in a 2.0mm x 1.6mm x 0.5mm miniature ceramic package. R2016 series crystals have a frequency range of 16 MHz to 72 MHz, and use a wider frequency range, They include 16 MHz, 20 MHz, 24 MHz, 26 MHz, 27.120 MHz, 32 MHz, 38.4 MHz, 40 MHz, 48 MHz, and 50 MHz. Available frequency tolerances at room temperature are ±10 ppm and ±50 ppm, and temperature stability ranges from ±10 ppm to ±50 ppm. These surface-mounted crystals operate in the standard temperature range from -20°C to +70°C, and are also available in the extended temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.

     Applications targeted for the R2016 series include embedded computing devices, cameras, wearables, storage, personal digital devices, wireless applications, microprocessor clocks, portable medical devices, alerts, utility metering, smart homes and other high-density applications.
