Vishay Intertechnology has announced the launch of A new 35 A high current commercial IHCM common mode choke. Vishay Custom magnetic core IHCM-2321AA-10 uses a thin, surface-mount package structure that is more robust and superior to larger torus devices, with operating temperatures up to +155 °C.

     The thin IHCM-2321AA-10 has reduced overall size and volume, high impact and vibration resistance, and the maximum saturation current of the enhanced core design is 35 A. The IHCM-2321AA-10 is a surface mount device and can be assembled by automatic plug-in to improve the flexibility of the cloth plate.

     With excellent saturation characteristics, low DC impedance (DCR), and up to 1500 VDC intercoil voltage resistance, the IHCM-2321AA-10 is ideal for commercial-grade DC/DC converters, EMI filters, and high-current filters for applications including motor control and other circuit noise suppression in industrial and telecommunications applications.

     In addition to the standard surface mount configuration, the IHCM-2321AA-10 offers inductance, impedance, DCR and current rating, as well as plug-in assembly customization options. Devices comply with RoHS and Vishay green standards and are halogen-free.
