TDK Lambda introduces the 100a TDK-Lambda iJC series of load-point non-isolated DC-DC converters. Compatible with PMBus and digitally controlled, these converters provide better dynamic performance, improve system stability, and allow for great flexibility and customization to meet the needs of the final application. These polar rails feature high precision voltage setting (±0.5%) digital control and automatic adjustment technology for better dynamic performance and system stability.
From 8 V(DC) to 14 V(DC) input operation, the iJC series can deliver output voltages ranging from 0.6 V to 1.5 V with a precision set point accuracy of 0.5%. The series is designed to meet a wide range of applications, including servers, routers, and other information and communication technology (ICT) equipment, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, measuring equipment and general industrial equipment. Surface mount converters take up only 1.5 square inches of panel space, representing an ultra-high power density of 66 A per cubic inch. The overall size is 28mm x 35mm x 10mm and the weight is only 20g.
Optimized components with digital control can output high current in high temperature, low airflow environment. The iJC power module has a typical efficiency of 91.5%, 1.5V output, 12V input, and 80% load. The PMBus read/write capability of the converter provides accurate real-time monitoring of voltage, current, and temperature, and allows full programmability of the iJC parameters. Function setting pins make them easy to use in applications where PMBus communication is not implemented. A graphical user interface and evaluation board are available for development support.
