     CML Microcircuits CMX940 RF synthesizer is a low power high performance fractional n phase-locked loop with fully integrated wideband VCO and programmable output divider. These RF synthesizers generate RF signals in the continuous frequency range from 49MHz to 2040MHz. The CMX940 synthesizer has two single-ended RF outputs to support the Tx and Rx subsystems. These RF synthesizer ics are configured with SPI-compatible C-BUS serial buses.

     The CMX940 synthesizer is available in a 7mm x 7mm LGA-48 package to reduce the number of components and PCB board area. These RF synthesizers are low noise general purpose 48.57MHz to 2.04GHz RF synthesizers. The CMX940 has a double-ring structure.

     The CMX940 amplifier features low operating voltage and low power consumption, making it suitable for a variety of portable and battery-powered wireless applications. These synthesizers are highly integrated, requiring only loop filters and clock references to provide a compact RF synthesizer solution. Applications include wireless data modems, common RF and IF, and Marine radios.
