The LP875761-Q1 device is designed to meet the power management requirements of the latest processors and platforms in a variety of automotive power applications. The device contains four step-down DC/DC converter cores configured for four-phase output in forced pwm mode. The device is controlled by an i2c compatible serial interface and an enable signal.

The LP875761-Q1 supports remote differential voltage sensing with a multiphase output to compensate for the IR drop between the regulator output and the point of load (POL), thereby improving the accuracy of the output voltage. Switching clocks can be forced to PWM mode or can be synchronized to an external clock to minimize interference.

The LP875761-Q1 device supports load current measurement without adding an external current sensing resistor. The LP875761-Q1 device also supports programmable startup and shutdown delays and synchronization sequences to enable the signal. The sequence can also include GPIO signals to control external regulators, load switches, and processor reset. During startup, the device controls the output conversion rate to minimize output voltage overshoot and inrush current
