Bosch Sensortec's BMP384 is a digital sensor for pressure and temperature measurement based on mature sensing principles. The sensor module is packaged in a very compact 10 pin metal cover LGA package, with a floor area of only 2.0 mm ×  2.0 mm, maximum package height 1.0 mm. The BMP384 has a gel filled cavity, which can be more robust to water, liquids and other chemicals if the applicable integration concept is used. The sensor itself is not waterproof. It is small in size and has a low power consumption of 3.4 at 1 hz μ A. It can be applied to cell phones, GPS modules, watches and other battery devices.

     The BMP384 is ideal for water level and blockage detection applications. It is compatible with other Bosch sensors, including the BMI 088, and has better performance, robustness and stability. The BMP384 has a small footprint and excellent design flexibility. It provides a single packaging solution that can be easily integrated into other existing and upcoming smart homes, industrial products and wearables.
