Six axis MEMS IMUs and three axis accelerometer, digital output temperature sensor, RoHS/ Green standard

     TDK InvenSense SmartIndustrial sensor platform includes a 6-axis MEMS Inertial Measurement Unit (IMUs) and a 3-axis accelerometer. The IIM-46230, IIM-46234, and IIM-42652 are 6-axis IMUs that combine the 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer into one compact package, while the IIM-42352 and IIM-42351 are 3-axis accelerometers. All of these products offer digital output temperature sensors that comply with RoHS and green standards. TDK InvenSense's intelligent industrial sensor platform is ideal for a variety of applications, including robotics, tilt sensing, platform stabilization, navigation, industrial automation, and more.

     The IIM-46230 and IIM-46234 are packaged in a 23mm x 23mm x 8.5mm module with a 20-pin connector. The IIM-46230 provides 4.1°/ hour gyroscope bias instability, while the IIM-46234 has 1.9°/ hour gyroscope bias instability. These sensors include multiple features that enable simple, robust and accurate inertial measurement in industrial applications. They leverage TDK's proprietary SensorFT (Fault tolerance) feature to provide built-in redundancy and early warning. The IIM-46230 and IIM-46234 operate at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C.

     The IM-42652 is available in a 14-pin LGA package of 2.5mm x 3mm x 0.91mm and supports an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C. The IIM-42652 features a 2k byte FIFO that reduces traffic to the serial bus interface and reduces power consumption by allowing the system processor to burst read sensor data and then enter low power mode.

     The IIM-42352 and IIM-42351 offer a 3-axis accelerometer packaged in a 2.5mm x 3mm x 0.91mm 14-pin LGA module. Digital output X, Y, and Z-axis accelerometers are available in programmable full range ranges of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, and ±16g. These modules can achieve low noise (70µg/√Hz) and low power consumption (0.3mA, with full performance from all 3 shafts). The IIM-42352 and IIM-42351 support an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C.
