     The Murata Type 1XA WLAN+ Bluetooth combination module supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2x2 MIMO RSDB and Bluetooth 5.2 BR/EDR/LE with up to 866Mbps PHY data rate over Wi-Fi, Up to 3Mbps PHY data rate on Bluetooth. The WLAN part supports PCIe v3.0 Gen 1 interface, and the Bluetooth part supports high-speed four-wire UART interface and audio data PCM.

     This compact, high-performance module is based on the CYW54591 combo chipset, which provides enhanced co-existing hardware mechanisms and algorithms to optimize WLAN and Bluetooth collaboration. In IEEE 802.11ac mode, WLAN works on 20MHz, 40MHz and 80MHz channels supporting MCS0 to MCS9 rates (up to 256qam) and data rates up to 866Mbps. Real Simultaneous Dual Band (RSDB) technology enables two unique data streams to run simultaneously at full throughput.

     The Murata Type 1XA WLAN+ Bluetooth combination module comes in a package of 11.4mm x 8.9mm x 1.4mm. This makes it ideal for size and power sensitive applications such as handheld wireless systems, gateways, Internet of Things and more. The 1XA module is also suitable for industrial applications with operating temperatures up to +85°C.
