The TDK-Lambda DBM20 24V 20A DIN Rail mounting buffer module is ideal for providing short-term retention or peak power for loads connected to a 24V(DC) output AC-DC power supply. They can provide an additional 250ms residence time at 448W output power. During normal operation, energy is stored in the DBM20 electrolytic capacitor. When the AC power supply is interrupted for a short time, the module continues to supply power to the load, enabling the device to shut down in a safe and controlled manner. The DBM20 series can be set to fixed or variable buffering mode.

     In fixed mode, when the input voltage drops to 22.4V, the module supplies power; In variable mode, when the input voltage drops to 1V, the module supplies power. Multiple buffer modules can be paralleled to extend residence time. Product status can be accessed remotely via DC OK relays or locally with LED indicators. Output remote on/off function to prevent unsafe discharge of stored energy.
