The LT8604/LT8604C is a compact, high-speed synchronous monolithic step-down switch regulator that delivers high efficiency outputs of up to 120mA at constant frequencies, up to 2.2MHz. It can accept a wide range of input voltages, up to 42V, and consumes only 2.5 μa of static current when operating in burst mode. Top and bottom power switches include all the necessary circuitry to minimize the need for external components. The LT8604C includes BST and INTVCC ceramic capacitors for a more compact solution with both SYNC/ MODE and HYST pins.

     The operation of the SYNC/MODE pin selection regulator between forced continuous modes for sampling predicted interference in the system and burst mode for improving efficiency under light loads or low EMI spread spectrum. It also allows for synchronization with external clocks to further improve the signal-to-noise ratio in high-resolution acquisition systems. The PG flag signals when VOUT is within ±7.5% of the programmed output voltage and is in a fault state. Hot downtime provides additional protection.
