Texas Instruments TMAG5123 is a chopper stabilized full pole, active low level, in-plane Hall effect switch sensor. TMAG5123 simplifies the mechanical placement of sensors by measuring the magnetic field parallel to the surface of the printed circuit board (PCB) in the surface mount SOT-23 package. Different sensitivity levels are available to meet the specific requirements of the application.

     When the applied magnetic flux density exceeds the operating point (BOP) threshold value in the absolute magnetic field value, the open drain output generates a low state voltage. The output remains low until the application domain is reduced to an absolute value below the release point (BRP) threshold. TMAG5123 has a wide working voltage range of 2.5 V to 38 V and reverse polarity protection up to - 20 V, which can be used in industrial applications.It also includes small household appliances, cordless vacuum robots, flow meters, opening and closing detection of residential circuit breakers
