The RAA223012 demonstration board of Renesa Electronics provides a reference design for low-cost, high-performance AC/DC conversion based on RAA223012 700V non isolated AC-DC step-down voltage regulator. RAA223012 has ultra-low standby power and integrated 700V MOSFET, which can provide up to 2.5W output power. It supports output voltage as low as 3.3V. RAA223012 combines Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) constant shutdown time control for heavy and light load operations.

     The RAA223012 demonstration board of Renesa Electronics has an AC dc conversion circuit, which can be used for general input from 85V to 265V (AC) to 5V output, and the output current is up to 150mA. The demonstration board has built-in over-current, short circuit, insufficient input power and over temperature protection, and is designed on a compact PCB with low-cost half wave input rectifier. These circuit boards meet the conducted and radiated EMI requirements of EN55022/CISPR 22 in advance, and the 1.5kV surge test of IEC61000-4-5 standard.
