Littelfuse, Inc., announced the latest 828 Series of high voltage casing fuses that have been specifically designed and tested to meet the circuit protection requirements of small automotive electronics, especially for electric vehicle (EV) applications.
These robust and durable fuse products meet Littelfuse's internal AEC-Q200 standard and have a high interrupt rating (10 KA @ 1,000Vdc), making them ideal for on-board chargers (OBCs) and distribution units (PDUs) in the latest electric vehicle designs. Littelfuse is available in through-hole mount and bolt-on fuse models for flexible use in printed circuit board (PCB) or screw-in components.

"These products combine true design flexibility with reliable circuit protection to achieve a high degree of reliability suited for use in the harsh automotive electronics environment."
The 828 Series Fuses are AEC-Q200 compliant compact 10 x 38 mm casing fuses with an extremely high interrupt rating (10 KA @ 1000 Vdc), providing excellent overcurrent protection for electric vehicle designs. End caps are equipped with integrated drop-off leads and bolting options, eliminating the need to install fittings or lead molding processes. Operating temperatures range from -55˚C to 125˚C, providing very reliable protection against extreme temperatures. Environmentally friendly components are RoHS compliant, halogen free and 100% lead free.
