Laird Connectivity's Sentrius IG60-BL654 and BT610 Starter kit. The suite features a new Wireless IoT gateway from Laird Connectivity's growing line of iot devices that securely and reliably connect Bluetooth-enabled sensors to the cloud, easily providing all the functionality needed to launch a Wireless Internet of Things (IoT) proof of concept in just a few minutes.

     Laird Connectivity Sentrius IG60-BL654 and BT610 Starter kits include Sentrius with Amazon Web Services (AWS) IG60-BL654 gateway, three BT610 Bluetooth 5 sensors, and three thermistor cable assemblies for temperature detection. Engineers can capture data from the BT610 sensor and collect these data sets through the IG60-BL654 gateway, then send the data to the cloud via AWS IoT Greengrass, and quickly deploy resources in the field through available iOS and Android mobile apps.

     The IG60-BL654 gateway is based on Laird Connectivity's 60 series module and BL654 embedded Bluetooth module as well as Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 System-on-chip (SoC), providing a powerful platform for Bluetooth 5 remote sensor to cloud applications. The combination of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi gives users the ability to capture data from Bluetooth 5 sensors, add edge intelligence, and send data to the cloud via high-performance 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

     The Sentrius BT610 is a Bluetooth 5 sensor platform that converts wired sensors into battery-powered IP67-class wireless nodes for reliable and secure transmission of information. This sensor supports almost all standard external sensors through a wide range of interface options such as universal analog input, digital input/output, I²C, SPI and UART, or in combination with sensor cable assemblies. The BT610 is fully FCC, ISED, EU, RCM and MIC certified, as well as Bluetooth SIG certified.
