Molex 5G15 series 5G millimeter wave RF flexible cable to circuit board connector. The 5G15 series connectors are designed for advanced 5G applications that require flexible design, robust mating and ultra small PCB space, providing engineers with excellent versatility and availability, as well as signal integrity up to 15 GHz.

     Molex 5G15 series 5G millimeter wave RF flexible cable to circuit board connector adopts two configurations: one is dual RF signal line with 1A power line, and the other is four RF signal lines without power supply. Both of these options adopt row to row isolated socket center shielding design, which can provide good signal integrity and excellent EMI shielding and isolation performance. Other features include 0.35 mm wide alignment spacing for easy mating, an overmolding design to prevent pin pullout, and armored split pins that protect connectors from damage during mating and can be used as power or ground pins.

     The maximum current of 5G15 series connector is 2A (1A maximum per pin), which supports 5G millimeter wave, Sub 6 GHz, 4G/LTE or any high-speed application requiring up to 15 GHz digital RF connection. This series of connectors can also combine RF and other non RF connection functions in one connector to save PCB space and cost, or replace multiple coaxial cables by combining them into a board to board connector.
