Advanced Eenergy announced the introduction of LCM4000HV series configurable power supplies. This new power supply system has hot plug function, and can simplify the installation, maintenance and scalability of large capacity LED lighting projects such as gardening and commercial lighting.
The maximum rated power of LCM4000HV single alternating DC high-voltage power supply module is 4000W, and the operating efficiency can reach 95%. Combined with the new LCM12K 19 "1U rack mounting frame, it can create a centralized current source for medium and large LED lighting devices.
"Indoor growers are trying to reduce costs and maximize farm productivity, and they are turning to centralized power supply systems. This system directly distributes DC power instead of AC power to a single LED lamp. This can save them up to 50% of the cost of power conversion," said Joe Voyles, vice president of industrial power conversion department of Advanced Energy, "In addition to saving energy, the LCM4000HV series can also speed up the installation of the power conversion subsystem, provide hot plug function, simplify maintenance and achieve rapid expansion."
The LCM4000HV module fully complies with DLC's Technical Requirements for Gardening Lighting (Version 2.1), and can also be used with the new LCM12K 19 "1U rack mounting frame of Advanced Energy Company in the United States to provide up to 12kW of power and realize hot plug replacement. In gardening lighting, this combination enables customers to place the power conversion subsystem containing many rack type AC/DC power supplies in the control room outside the planting area.
These modules provide a flicker free current source of 0 to 16 A in the output voltage range of 100 to 300 VDC. The optional input voltages are 187-364 VAC and 311-528 VAC. The input and output voltages can be configured via the Modbus interface to optimize the power supply according to the specific requirements of the target application. LCM4000HV series adopts variable speed intelligent fan with dust control function to simplify thermal management and ensure high reliability. The minimum MTBF of the power supply unit is 200000 hours, and each module has a five-year warranty.
