Aldo Kamper is officially installed as CEO of Imis Osram

Ames Osram, Inc., a leading global provider of optical solutions, announced that Aldo Kamper has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors effective April 1, 2023. Earlier on 30 January 2023, the Supervisory Board of Ames Osram made the appointment and announced this decision. In addition, effective April 1, Aldo Kamper has assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer of OSRAM Licht AG, a subsidiary of Ames Osram Group.

Aldo Kamper is an experienced CEO with nearly 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to this appointment, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Leoni AG. Aldo Kamper began his career at Osram and held various management positions, including President and CEO of Osram OptoSemiconductors. During his tenure, he LED the development of microLED technology, dynamic forward lighting technology, and the layout of LED technology planning routes for new applications such as plant lighting.
